Kasemkij Hotels Executive Director Tirapongse Pangsrivongse, the owner of Cape Panwa Hotel, Phuket donates Baht 100,000 to Mrs.Makpah Yukhonthon, the matron of the Home for Orphans and Underprivileged Children located near the hotel. The donation was made to support its on-going operation.

Phuket Deputy Governor Somkiat Sangkhaosutthirak presided over the opening of the 9th Cape Panwa Hotel, Phuket Raceweek 2012. More than 30 yachts and 500 participants from 20 countries are at the Cape Panwa Hotel for the competition which lasts until July 22, 2012.

|Kasemkij Hotels Thanks Loyal Guests : 10 July 2012
The Cape Racha, Kantary Bay, Kameo House and Karavel House Hotels in Sriracha, owned and managed by Kasemkij Hotels, jointly hosted their 10th thank-you party for longstay guests, called “The 10th Exclusive Moment”.
The theme of the event was a traditional Thai dessert cooking class. It was aimed at the wives of the Japanese executives working on the Eastern Seaboard who reside full time at the various Kasemkij Hotels, to help familiarize them with Thai cuisine and culture through a hotel activity. The class was conducted by Cape Racha Hotel’s executive Thai cuisine chef and was held in a traditional Thai setting to match the main recipe “Bananas in Coconut Milk” or ‘Kluay Buad Chee’. The Japanese guests were also taught how to make other Thai desserts using bananas and their children were given toys made from banana trees called “Banana Tree Horse”.

The Thai Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (TSPCA) recently hosted a “Volunteer TSPCA Meet and
Greet’3” function at Kantary Hotel, Kabinburi, to recognise about 100 field volunteers for their work with TSPCA to
better the plight of animals over the past few months.
TSPCA Projects they were involved in included animal aid during last year’s flood and the ongoing campaign for a
national animal welfare bill. The two-day event, which included an introduction to the organisation’s current and
future challenges, saw several senior volunteers receive Certificates of Appreciation for “outstanding performance”, plus a tour of Kabinburi. Currently, TSPCA has more than 1,000 volunteers from both the private and government sectors, as well as many youth.
