|Networking Seminar on Preventing Illegal Animal Trafficking : 19 February 2013
Mr.Tirapongse Pangsrivongse (front row 3rd left), President of the Thai Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (TSPCA), recently hosted a seminar entitled “How to use the Animal Torture Prevention and Welfare Provision Act to Prevent Illegal Animal Trafficking”, which was presided over by MP Nikorn Chamnong (front row 6th left), Chairman of the Extraordinary Committee on Drafting the Animal Torture Prevention and Welfare Provision Act and attended by some 100 participants from various animal welfare agencies as well as entertainers from the RS Label. The purpose of the workshop, held at Kantary Bay Hotel, Rayong, was to share their encounters with animal cruelty and brainstorm solutions to the problem.
