NSOT and TSPCA encourage “animal kindness” Scout Law : 10 November 2012

The National Scout Organization of Thailand (NSOT), and the Thai Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (TSPCA), jointly hosted a seminar entitled “Raising Animal Welfare Awareness via Boy Scout Activities” to discuss ways to formally integrate animal welfare education into the Ministry of Education’s National Boy Scout Curriculum under Scout Law #6 – “A Scout is a friend to animals”. The seminar held at Kameo Grand Hotel, Rayong recently, was presided over by Ministry of Education Deputy Permanent Secretary and NSOT Secretary Supakorn Wongprach (sitting 4th left) and attended by TSPCA President Tirapongse Pangsrivongse (sitting 2nd right), and Mahidol University Veterinary Science Dean Assoc. Prof. Parnthep Ratanakorn (sitting 3nd right).

Donation for animal welfare : 18 October 2012

Kantary Hills Hotel, Chiang Mai General Manager Magrin Promyothi (5th left), donated Baht 141,320 to Lanna Dog Welfare Co-founder Dr. Wilaiwan Petchsophonsakul (4th left). The money was raised at a Thai Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (TSPCA) supported Gala Dinner with the “North Gate Jazz Trio”, which was held at the hotel recently.
